Sharpening Tools and Improving Techniques for New Writers
Effective use of ideas as mental tools for joy, productivity, growth, and success

Time management is a concern for many of us. Each of us has the same 24 hours a day, but we all have different ways of dealing with time.
For example, I don’t manage my time. Instead, I prioritize my activities based on my vision, goals, and aspirations. An effective way of using time wisely is to sharpen our tools, improve our techniques, and use them efficiently.
Using the right tools and techniques correctly can make our lives easier. We can save time and produce better (quality) and more (quantity) outcomes. As previous articles discussed, quality and quantity are essential for success.
Our tools and techniques can give us more options. For example, as writers, using productivity tools and learning new styles can increase the quality and quantity of our desired writing outcomes.
Using the adage to touch fire with bare hands can be disastrous, but using a tool like a tong can make the process easier, healthier, and more productive. Considering this fact, I recommend the community members see my ideas as tools and techniques.
In this post, I want to add clarity to my intentions. Since we are in the nascent stage of community building and don’t know each other well, messages and plans may be misinterpreted, misunderstood, or maybe taken out of context. These are all-natural consequences, especially on digital platforms and virtual environments.
As writers, written communication is our primary tool.
We are professionals. However, we all have our strengths and weakness. We can turn our weaknesses into power by leveraging each other's strengths. This is one of our values called synergy.
Meaningful engagement for community members is another tool and communication method to transform our weaknesses into strengths.
Communities are built on trust and collaboration; they operate with authentic engagements. Our community can survive and thrive with meaningful engagement based on trust, integrity, and compassion.
Even though we define diversity as one of our values, diversity is also a critical tool for us. Collaborating with a diverse set of skills and expertise can be a technique to create synergy. In other words, we can use our values as our tools and techniques. This is one of the innovative approaches to growth.
We can create a fusion with our meaningful engagement techniques and our diversity as a tool.
Rather than being passive victims of current circumstances, we move out of our comfort zone and take personal responsibility for our happiness by moving and shaking things meaningfully.
Personally, I don’t see myself as a manager or governor in this community. We already have a self-managing community with flexible and dynamic governance based on our core values. My primary role is more of a guiding leadership articulating our vision, strategies, and values.
As my passion, I strive to provide a success roadmap, practical tools, and techniques that the community members can consider and customize for their growth needs. We cannot succeed without this ecosystem's clear roadmap, tools, and techniques.
We are collectively creating a new culture. Cultures require a rule of engagement to flourish. Our rule of engagement is meaningful and supportive engagement. For example, rather than passively sharing our content, we engage in the culture to spark inspiration and motivation.
Cultural vitality through meaningful engagement is our key success factor. We will sharpen our tools and improve our techniques with ongoing interactions and feedback.
I want the community members to see the ideas and challenges I proposed before as optional tools and techniques for mutual growth. I want to empower our community by giving viable options so that each community member can consider the options and customize them for their needs. One sure thing is that we all must move out of our comfort zone and operate in the growth zone.
We are from different backgrounds and have different goals, objectives, and aspirations. Our common goal is to grow together. This common goal requires meaningful and collaborative engagement.
