Four weeks and still going and that is down to you guys sitting, reading and enjoying other writers poetry. I’ve had quite a busy week in lockdown.

“Boldly going where I have never gone before”

Last week I put up a google form thingy asking how you wanted to move this forward. The results are now in. I asked if you wanted a Facebook page, you all said yes. I asked if you wanted a publication, you all said yes. So I created both.

I have decided not to share my latest creations here. Mainly because this is about you and not me. If you wish to have a look at my work, click on my profile and you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Ten Poems I’ve read and absolutely love.

There are just so many fantastic poems too read. I really wish I could just list every single one.

These are ones that just stood out to me for various reasons, have a look as there is some amazing work out there.

I will keep looking and keep reading as many poems as I possibly can. I can say though I haven’t seen one that shouldn’t be on my list. Keep up the amazing work. I wish I could write the way you do!

‘Go on, I Dare Ya! Do a Prompt’

Why not shake those brain cells up a little and have a go at one of the prompts. Or have a go at all of them if you are feeling brave. So you don’t feel left out I also do the prompts.

Prompt 1. “Picture it”

For this, you need to write a poem in any form and about the picture. However, the poem must be 50 words or more!

Prompt 2. “I’m Turning Japanese”

You guessed it! Write a haiku from the word “Parallel”
