Sell Your Services On LinkedIn for free! But How To?
Build, Engage and Create! You’re a step away from your clients

I started to use LinkedIn more than 7 years ago.
With time, I noticed that this social network could also be used as a sales tool.
I started to experiment with different ways of selling my services on LinkedIn, and today I want to share them with you!
LinkedIn currently has 800M members. (It’s a treasure for networking)
There’re around 57M+ companies on LinkedIn. Now you can understand the potential.
Today, I will tell you how to sell your services on LinkedIn and get clients for free!
1) Your clients want to know your USP
What do you offer that’s different from the rest?
When someone visits your LinkedIn profile, what will they see first?

Key Points
Remember key points here:
- Your profile picture should be there
- Your cover pic should tell about the services you are selling
- Your primary title needs to have a glimpse of every service you’re selling
- Your “About” section on LinkedIn needs to reflect what you’re selling
- All the above points should be in alignment with your personal brand on LinkedIn
- Your profile is like a resume — only better! (LinkedIn has more than 800M members) So make it perfect.
- Do not forget about recommendations and endorsements. They are very important for building trust too!
Note: LinkedIn is not only for finding jobs. You can use it to sell your services as well! So, there’s more to LinkedIn than finding a job!
Keep in mind that your main goal is to get them interested if you’re looking for clients. So, let’s move on.
2) Post content every day
I do not mean one post per day. I mean, 2 posts per day.
Since you’re just starting out, it’s important to create a lot of content and post it on LinkedIn regularly.
Why?
Because you want to be found! And the more your content is visible, the better odds you have of being found by someone who’s interested in what you have to offer.
LinkedIn has a feature that allows you to share your content with other people.
When someone shares your post, their network will see it, and some of them may be interested in what you have to offer!
You must write great headlines for your posts
Your headline is the first thing people will see. So make sure it grabs their attention!
It’s good to have a call to action at the end of every post. Please make use of that space to make it more effective.
3) Engage with the community
This is one of the most important things you need to do.
How can you engage with your community?
You can leave comments on other people’s posts (it doesn’t always have to be about sales)
It could be about something interesting that they posted or just start a discussion around it!
LinkedIn has many groups where professionals from all backgrounds gather to learn and share ideas.
Be a part of as many groups as you can!
Not only will it help you build relationships, but you’ll also get to know more people who may be interested in what you have to offer!
Make it your habit to post 10 positive comments on 10 different posts every day.
4) Analyze where your ideal clients are on LinkedIn
LinkedIn has a feature that allows you to see the companies that are most likely to be interested in what you have to offer.
How do you find this out?
It’s simple!
Just go to the search bar and type in the service you are selling. You can type like this “Freelance designing jobs,” “Freelance developer job,” Freelance writing jobs.”
Note: When you do that, make sure you choose “Job” from the main menu.
This blog will help you understand it even more:
5) Send connection request to relevant people
LinkedIn allows you to see people who might be interested in your services.
You can use this feature and send connection requests to the most relevant ones!
Remember:
Don’t just send a generic mass request with some copy-paste message; personalize each one of them! It makes a huge difference for building relationships on LinkedIn.
6) Use the right hashtags
LinkedIn allows you to use hashtags in your posts.
Make sure you use the right ones!
Some of the most popular hashtags on LinkedIn are #business, #entrepreneur, #startup, #marketing, and so on.
When you use relevant hashtags in your posts, it will help you reach a wider audience.
7) Try to engage more with your potential client
Once you’ve spotted your potential client, the game begins!
I’m not saying to you that you show up in your client’s inbox.
Keep a hawk’s eye on your potential client’s posts. Look at the pain points and come up as a problem-solver.
How?
Comment on their posts, start a discussion around them. If you can provide value and help them somehow, they’re more likely to reach out to you!
8) Commit to the checklist!
The more you do, the better results you will get!
You must stay consistent with your LinkedIn strategy. The best advice I can give is to commit to a schedule and follow it every day.
Be sure to track everything so that you know what works for your business and what doesn’t work at all!
Here’s your checklist:
- 2 posts every day
- 10 comments on 10 different posts
- Use the right hashtags
