“He is looking for the Time Walker.” Alaric studies your expression before elaborating further, his voice low and measured. “A warlock who can manipulate time.”
The ominous power of such a dangerous force lingers, thick as fog.
“What do you have to do with all this?” Something brushes the back of your neck, like a spider’s web.
The light in the cave is dim, but Alaric’s eyes glint like twin beacons in the darkness. “I know his location.”
A gasp escapes your lips — breath fogging the cold air.
Could this “Time Walker” alter the course of history?
