Seasons Come and Seasons Go: Spring Plants the Seeds of Change
DEP Spring Contest

There is a time and a place for all things. The changing of the seasons represents the flow of life. There will be opportunities for expansion and excitement, but sometimes you will be forced to rest and recover. Never let life get you down. Everything can change in an instant and bring new blessings to you.
Spring offers you a fresh start. You never know what surprises will bloom during this time of growth. Have a beginner’s mind and be receptive to change. This is the perfect time to plant seeds. Establish new ideas and give them the care they need to flourish. You can choose to remain stagnant, or you can reach your limbs toward the sky and grow.
Ice melts reckoning spring blooms welcoming cherry blossom enveloping bringing in the new
Summer heat’s sweltering sunshine so deafening days are lengthening so many things to do
Seasons come and seasons go life within its flow change is inevitable the good, the bad, the slow
Take it in peacefully savor each mo- ment that you still have before it’s all gone
Autumn leaves falling cooler weather calling colors are calming passion in each hue
Leaves are now dropping winter is forestalling somehow still evolving rest to make it through
Seasons come and seasons go life within its flow change is inevitable the good, the bad, the slow
Take it in peacefully savor each mo- ment that you still have before it’s all gone

Fresh Air Equals Fresh Energy
Take advantage of the beautiful spring weather by spending time outside. Getting fresh air lifts your spirits and helps you feel more inspired. This is the perfect time of year to go on long walks, start a garden, or explore new areas. Don’t spend all of your time indoors when there are so many things to discover.
Release the Old
Declutter your home and your life this spring. Release what no longer serves you so new blessings can find you. Clear out the cobwebs and cut ties with anything that is not for your highest and greatest good. This is a difficult process, but it frees you from old cycles. Work past your blocks by simply letting go.
Embrace Joy
Take the time to simply be and enjoy the world around you. Cast your worries and anxiety aside and give yourself permission to be happy. There is so much beauty in the world. It’s important to take the time to appreciate it. Never feel guilty for stopping to smell the flowers. Life is much sweeter when you savor small moments.
Contemplate the Beautiful
“That pleasure which is at once the most pure, the most elevating and the most intense, is derived, I maintain, from the contemplation of the beautiful.” — Edgar Allan Poe
Spring is filled with stunning colors, breathtaking flowers, and playful animals. Stand in awe of the universe and find happiness in the simplest of things. It’s easy to overlook the beauty around you when you are caught up in everyday life. Open your eyes and find pleasure in your surroundings.
Springtime helps you transform your life and make positive changes. Visualize where you want to be so you can start cultivating it now. Your goals need nourishment to grow, so make sure you are tending to them daily. Where would you want to be if you did not have anything holding you back?
Allow the beautiful weather in spring to inspire you. Make new connections and go on adventures. Stay lighthearted and give yourself permission to have fun. The seasons will change quickly before you know it, so make the most of the time you have.
