Abstract

<ol><li>Review a book cover my designer created, providing feedback and revision details. I did just that, and he is now revising it.</li><li>Conduct niche research. I am currently exploring colouring and activity book niches and spent about 15–20 minutes on this. Realising my designer lacked experience in this area, I also spent some time on Upwork searching for suitable designers.</li></ol><p id="98e3">I worked for a total of two hours today on my KDP business, successfully accomplished these two goals, and also took a short break amidst feeling stressed.</p><p id="7c4a">It’s now 10:57 am, and the time I’m dedicating to writing this blog is also scheduled. Schedule to Get Work Done (KDP Blog: Jan 12, 2024)

Since learning the importance of scheduling a few years ago, I have diligently followed it. Each night, I consistently:

  1. Set specific goals for the following day.
  2. Allocate specific times to work on these goals.

Today, as I write this article, I have just completed time allocated for my KDP business. I had scheduled to work from 08:30 am to 10:30 am for 2 hours, and I adhered precisely to this plan. My schedule tends to be dynamic these days, meaning it varies daily. However, not a day passes without having my hours fixed and scheduled from the previous night.

A Benefit of Scheduling

There are many advantages to scheduling the night before. One significant benefit is that it provides clarity for the next day. You don’t need to spend excessive time pondering what to do and when to do it, allowing you to immediately start accomplishing your goals.

The KDP goals I achieved today were:
