Saturn in the Seventh house or Libra by transit or birth

If you have Saturn in your Seventh House or if it is transiting this house you will likely be learning lots of big lessons about one-to-one relationships.

These may be through romantic partners, close friends, business partners, colleagues, or open enemies, for example. This placement forces you to fortify boundaries for your own protection, to make sure you are looking after your energy and putting your health and well-being first before giving to others. It’s like making sure you put your oxygen mask on before you help other people. Or for another analogy, you can’t pour from an empty cup.

This is a great transit for realising what you are worth and not settling for a crumb less. Not. A. Crumb.

The road to this realisation may be marred by some people disrespecting your boundaries, though this could be unconscious, so try to be firm but also kind. Everyone is learning all the time and people aren’t perfect, so it may be that they aren’t or didn’t give you enough when they would have if they’d have known how, or what you wanted from them. This is not an excuse, I’m just saying.

Venus rules Libra, and Libra rules the Seventh House. So, this placement is like Venus in Capricorn. By that, I mean you might encounter similar themes about love and security, and potential challenges, such as coldness or rigidity, from partners. A healthy expression of Capricorn Venus though is unshakeable loyalty, warmth, and homeliness. When experiencing this transit, it might be good to seek out and nurture partnerships that feel like that.

Venus in Capricorn also shows their love through providing, whether it be taking care of you financially or buying you gifts, and will respect and take care of you. They see your worth.

Body parts ruled by Libra include the kidneys, lower back, bum, and skin, so make sure to take extra care of these areas during activation Saturn in the Seventh House or Libra as they may be under more stress.

Johnny Depp, surprise!

Mr Depp has Saturn in his Seventh House in Aquarius. He has sun in Gemini, moon in Capricorn, Leo rising, and a lot of earth placements.

As we all know, Depp has experienced some intense relationship drama in the courts over the past couple of years with ex-wife Amber Heard.

Libra is all about justice, balancing, the scales, and Saturn here was not kidding. Not only that, but Aquarius, another air sign, has to do with justice at a collective level, so with the Seventh House/Aquarius combo we see justice in a close one-to-one relationship scrutinised by the collective.

Depp sued Heard for defamation after she accused him of abuse in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed, which she countersued him for after his lawyer claimed her accusations were false.

After a public trial lasting over a month-and-a-half in Fairfax County, Virginia, Heard settled the case after the jury largely sided with Depp, awarding him over $10 million in compensatory charges and $2 million to Heard for the countersuit.

Though it might be impossible for the public to be one hundred percent sure about what actually happened between Depp and Heard, the scales tipped in his favour in this case…
