Saturn in the Tenth House or Capricorn by transit or birth
Saturn in the 10th or Capricorn indicates you may struggle with your career or reputation when you are younger. You may crave a certain level of success in what you do for a living or in terms of what you are passionate about, but success is likely to come to you after your Saturn return if you just keep going.
You may have to work harder than your peers to reach your goals, and you may come up against more obstacles. It may seem like everyone has it easier than you, that the cards you are being dealt are just not in your favour. Remember, Saturn rewards hard work and success comes in time. Everyone’s timeline for achievement is different. It pays not to compare yourself to others. Stick to your own path and keep going.
Someone with this placement is particularly likely to gain huge success in the corporate world or become an expert in their field if the circumstances are favourable. A key thing to remember is to learn the lessons from any setbacks, and then continue forwards on your path. Through this, you will move forward with true confidence because you have actually gone through the hard stuff and learnt how to deal with it. This leads to developing expertise and becoming an eventual authority in your field.
Maybe you start out as the underdog, but your story will be one of triumph and material security in the end through learning your lessons. Perhaps your skills or potential are often overlooked by people in higher roles or who have authority over you. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate what you can do.
Stay humble and keep learning the practical skills and elements of your job so that you can keep moving to the next levels. Most importantly, offer your services with integrity and generosity, and you will be rewarded many times over, in time.
Famous Example
There are some really amazing examples of celebrities with Saturn in the Tenth House.
Miley Cyrus is one of them, with her Saturn in the tenth in Aquarius conjunct her midheaven. Of note, Miley’s moon and Pluto are in Scorpio and the latter in a wide square of 100 degrees with Saturn. Mercury is conjunct with her moon, and her sun is at one degree of Sagittarius, so Pluto through her moon, Mercury, and the sun are all conjunct.
Since her days on Disney Channel, Miley’s public image has gone through immense changes, from the innocent era to the Wrecking Ball, Plastic Hearts, and healing, Used To Be Young, era. Thirty now, Miley has gone through her first Saturn return, which is probably a time when she was writing a lot of the songs on her newest album, Endless Summer Vacation.
This latest album shows a Miley who is more outspoken about being enough for herself than any of her previous ones. It certainly shows someone who has solidly come to terms with who they are and what they will and will not settle for, even, or especially, if that means being on her own. It is a great example of a classic coming-of-age brought on by the Saturn return, and one so visible to the public with Saturn in the 10th House.
