Road to $5k Per Month Challenge — My Current Income
Plus when I’ll post updates.

I’m happy to see so many people interested in my Road to $5k Per Month Challenge. Even better, many people said they are taking on their own challenge. I can’t wait to get updates on those!
This is a quick article about where I’m at now on my income tracker, plus I’ll let you know when I‘m going to post updates.
My current income.
Here’s my income tracker so you can see where I’m at currently:

Every time I hit an earnings goal, I color in the marbles up to and including that goal amount.
Note: You can download this tracker free from here. Or, I show you how to create your own fun tracker in this article.
I’m up to the $500 marble. All of my earnings are from Medium so far. I had some affiliate sales too, but they haven’t paid out yet, so I’ll wait to add them.
NOTE: One of my affiliate sales was paid. It was $118, so now I’m at the $600 marble.

It might be hard to see, but I structured this tracker to start with $50 intervals until the $500 mark. Then it goes to $100 intervals until $1000. Finally, it goes to $1000 intervals until $5000.
My theory is once the income starts slow and starts to snowball as momentum builds. We’ll see if that actually happens!
When I plan to update.
I originally thought of doing weekly updates, but I can’t imagine enough significant things happening in a week to make those updates interesting.
I think a monthly update will be better. Look for January’s at the beginning of February.
If you’ve created your own challenge (whether you’re writing about it or not), let me know what you’re shooting for in the comments. $100? $1000? $1,000,000?
