Responding Moistly to Christopher Robin’s August Doctor Funny 12(ish)-word Challenge

A dewy double duo of almost-limericks soddenly stuck together

I take a challenge seriously.

So, when I realized that it’s Moist Month at Doctor Funny AND Christopher Robin had thrown down another 12-word challenge I had to break sweat and go all out to respond.

But first, here’s the pairing that caused the muggy mess.

C-Rob’s 12-ish words: cat, falls asleep during, woman, stabbing, servings of, dumpster, annoys, molested by, in back of, cocaine, thrown in, love ballad, and bonus word CNN.

A damp cat composed his love ballad While tossing up servings of salad It came out all moist And that’s just the woist “Annoys me when some hate the dressing, not valid”

I’ve thrown in some cocaine, said he To increase your glee, oh yippee Let’s watch CNN While over you bend Oops, a cramp just in back of my knee

Jen M is a woman of note And “Moist Month”, the treatise, she wrote Christopher’s stabbing At 12 words so grabbing Both are due better, I vote

Truly Jennifer McDougall and Christopher Robin both deserve better than the soggy hash served up above.

But then again, it is moist in places and does manage to get the 12 words, and the bonus, almost right.
