I’m, now, all alone I feel like a shell I can’t believe what I’ve lived with I’ve been through a fiery hell.
Told I’m not good enough Told that I’ve made a mistake Told that I have it wrong And there’s little claim I can make.
Who am I anymore? Why do I put up with the lies? What happened to my spirit? Why does she criticize?
Things used to be like heaven Our love entwined like a vine. Then she wasn’t the same She no longer was mine.
And, the devaluing continued On and on and on I lost my will and I lost myself And then, one day, she was gone.
