Pursuit: 47/ Soul-Bending Conundrums

Recap: Touzdae the Observer blends with her younger self and remains a neutral observer. Harry talks of an experiment to separate Jac into Warrior Jac and Peace Jac. “Results?” Bendel asks. “Nothing conclusive,”

Harry answers. Jac accidentally bi-locates to Bendel’s father’s ship in the past. And incurs a minor wound.

He bi-locates back to the cell. He becomes a conscious observer without a physical body. And he witnesses Hanna and young Touzdae (see Chapter 38/ Down the Rabid Hole) as the force-fields fail during a fire fight. Hanna bilocates Touzdae and herself. Jac sees how bilocation is done.

Touzdae consciousness transfers to see her younger self after finding out Jac has died in the Levelz collapse. Older Witness Touzdae is pulled into her younger self and boards Nez. They travel to the Well of Souls where both Nez and Young Touzdae realize Jac is dead.

Present day Jac bi-locates as Warrior Jac to the Needlecraft — unconscious and as Peace Jac to the cell on board the Nez.

Young Jac’s higher body/self goes to the Meta Planet above the Well and meets/talks with Bhantu. Touzdae’s craft docks with a golden-egg structure above the Well. She searches the facility for Jac’s body and sees it being released into the Well.

On the seventy-ninth day of an eighty-day meditative solo retreat, Luna awoke. Something is wrong with my sister, Touzdae, she thought. “She’s gone to The Well of Souls. I need to find her.”

Witness Touzdae succumbed to and became her younger self — Touzdae. Her angst over Jac’s death was all-consuming. She scrambled up to the airlock and into the small craft. She fired the ion engines to full and plotted a course to the eye of the vortex. She opened the half-life chamber she had stolen, climbed in, and sealed herself inside. Her ship hit the first wave of turbulence and the outer hull buckled. She watched as her ship was torn apart around the chamber.

Something unexpected happened.

“It has begun,” Bendel spread his arms over the body of the boy breathing once again. “The Monks of Entu and Bhantu himself are forming a new body from the old one. And you Harry must go back to the Casa and be with Luna while I complete this process.”

“Isn’t she in the Ennis meditation?” Harry queried.

“Yes, tomorrow she will awaken and you must be there to provide stability. Yes?”

“Of course, Bendel. I will leave immediately.”

Harry boarded his small transport and set course for the port on the other side of Gata.

“Nez has entered orbit around this Meta Planet. And I had nothing to do with this. She came because of a calling. But she is neither here in your vibrational state nor is she in the ordinary world. She has offered herself to help you. She will help give birth to the new you in the center of the Golden Matrix above The Well of Souls.”

“I like that. She gives symmetry.”

Bhantu grinned. “There is one matter I haven’t discussed with you that is of vital importance.”

Jac smiled and wagged his head back and forth, “There is always a catch. What is it?”

“You will not remember any of this once you enter the new body. The memories of this and this process and even of Tu Mai will be lost. These memories will not ever be accessible by your primary consciousness.”

“Will they be accessible at all?”

“Perhaps.”

Jac, unable to stand sat in the tall grasses. They caressed his body and sang, harmonizing with the lavender trees amid the purple mist.

Luna’s Needlecraft emerged from the jump tube near the Well. Using momentum and her ion drive she docked with the Golden Egg Matrix above the Well.

A light appeared from a small spark in a rhythm like a beating heart. The light expanded throwing off bolts of lightning.

On the far side of Gata lightning appeared around the boy’s chamber. Bendel watched as spirit bodies came. They attached to the boy’s core. Bendel smiled and returned to his task.

Luna entered the airlock. As the inner door opened several bolts of lightning shot into the chamber and she fell to the deck.

The pulsing light expanded over the Golden Egg Matrix and contracted to a small spot.

A story-boarding chapter will deconstruct chapter 46, 47, & possibly 48.
