The belief of control holds us protected, For what is to come, we think, we can change. But our ability to do so will always be doubted, For what life holds in store we can’t prearrange.

We falsely think we have control, We give in to the thought of choice. We think we can see through the keyhole, Yet our actions differ from our voice.

Our lives are but a stick floating in a river, We may think, we can change our direction. But who we are, confirms our anchor, The act of control is just an illusion.

Do not seek to act with control, just go with the flow, For where you will go is where you will grow.
