Books the gatekeepers of thought, The words we write portray the way we are. Each word read is a thought that is taught. Words written present and past become a memoir.

Respect ort to be given, For books are legacy of the gone. Knowledge rests with the written, For the written word hails in each dawn.

Books are there to teach but also to question, They may hide answers we seek. Yet each text leaves a different impression. It is on you to respect and critique.

Humanity’s morality, Is eroded through a book's immorality.

Thank you for taking the time and reading my poetry. I hope that you enjoyed it. Stay tuned for more from the Daily Dose of Philosophy.
