Peace We All Need
Our homes are not safe; we need peace
In the crucible of conflict where shadows dance A symphony of chaos war’s bitter trance. Soldiers don armor a shield of despair In fields of turmoil, hope is suspended in the air.
Thunderous echoes pierce the silent night As nations clash blinded by prideful might. The drumbeat of war relentless and cold A tale of sorrow history retold.
Yet in the heart of darkness, a flicker remains A longing for peace that transcends all chains. Amidst the ruins where hatred has trod A whisper of hope like the breath of a god.
For peace is a garden where compassion may bloom A canvas of unity painted in every room. In the midst of the storm a call to the wise To mend what is broken to open closed eyes.
The pen is a sword mightier than steel A plea for serenity a balm to heal. Let diplomacy reign like a dove in flight To extinguish the flames embrace the light.
War’s legacy lingers scars etched in time But courage persists a reason to climb. To seek common ground where understanding may grow To bridge the divide let empathy flow.
In the symphony of peace let hatred retire As hearts mend and kindle the sacred fire. A pledge for tomorrow a future untold In the life of peace a story unfolds.
