Don’t we feel good inside when our loved ones are happy?
Don’t we feel good, warm, content, relaxed, peaceful when our children, our spouse, our friends, the other significant people in our lives seem happy, are happy?
Many of us tend to worry when they aren’t, though, don’t we? We might feel worried, concerned. We might even feel anxious, distressed, troubled, disturbed if they seem unhappy.
We certainly are impacted by the energy, attitudes, feelings of our loved ones.
So, what if we turn that around?
We might say that one of the greatest gifts we can give the ones we love is our own happiness.

Aren’t you happy and delighted when the ones you love are happy and delighted?
It really isn’t selfish to work on our own happiness. It is actually giving, kind, and generous.
What if we give ourselves permission to work on our own happiness?
What if we give ourselves permission to work on the things that delight us, the things we are attracted to doing, creating, being, becoming?
