First of all, I’m grateful to be here another day. To have woken up and still be here for no other reason than just because is truly a blessing ❤
I don’t know if it’s because I’m older but it feels like I’m losing people that I love and care about way too frequently for my liking and it’s not even Covid-related. Honestly, I’m tired of mourning. But it does put things into perspective. Each day is really not guaranteed. So yes I’m truly grateful to still be here.
Last month I had a goal to submit 30-articles in 30-days and I’m absolutely proud to say challenge completed. Stay tuned for my results article in the next few days.
I received a lot of love and support throughout the month of October and I genuinely appreciate every single person that came across one of my articles read it, clapped, and/or commented. If you started following me last month thank you for choosing to take this journey with me. I appreciate it!
That said in the month of November it’s all about gratitude and paying it forward. So my goals are:
Write something I’m grateful for every day for the month of November, which I will probably publish in my personal publication positively healthy vibes. This is where I hope to write inspirational tidbits and articles about how I’m improving my physical and mental health.
Get my other publication that will be open to everyone up and running
Read and shout out at least 50 articles in the month of November (though I’m aiming higher).
Share articles that I loved and/or found informative on my Twitter. Follow me @ nathalie_clair1.
My goal is to build up my following on Twitter and encourage as many Medium writers to follow each other as well. Jimmy Misner Jr. is being absolutely awesome and helping me with this initiative. Please go follow him! He’s a great guy and a great writer. He’s big on supporting other writers and he absolutely deserves the same support in return. I’ll leave some of my favorites of his linked at the bottom.
I would love to see everyone supporting each other this way and sharing each other’s work. I want to create a corner for us Medium writers on Twitter using the hashtag #mediumwriters.
There are a lot of writers on Twitter but I feel like Medium writers specifically get lost in the mix. I started a small list of writers I’m following on there. That tweet is pinned so it’s easy to find and you can easily start following others. If you’re interested in joining the medium writers on Twitter movement leave your Twitter handle in the comments. I also encourage you to write your own article about it as well. Let your followers know to get on Twitter, follow you, and others and use the #mediumwriters.
Writing Goals
Originally I wasn’t going to set any sort of writing goal for myself in terms of number of articles but in lieu of participating in NanoWriMo the traditional way Zulie Rane created a challenge to write 100 words a day. I decided if I’m going to participate in this I’m going to focus on writing about gratitude. This was also inspired by Judey Kalchik who did 31 days of gratitude in the month of October. Follow her as well, she’s awesome!
So that’s it gratitude, read, write, support other writers and hopefully it’ll be an awesome November for us all ❤
