The article focused on explaining different types of stimming, treatments, and how to stop stimming.</p><p id="b23f">The author made one small note that stimming behaviour may not need to be changed, but then the rest of the article outlined all the different ways one can stop stimming (medication, CBT, and other therapies).</p><h2 id="7531">Prompt #1: Talk to me about stimming</h2><p id="fa95">What are your favourite happy stims? How do you embrace your own, or your child’s, self-soothing and enjoyable stims? How do you normalize stimming? What are the benefits of stimming, how do they help you or your child? Why are they important?</p><p id="b6df"><i>And so on!</i></p><p id="c5ce">Note: Stimming is something that everyone does, but often neurodivergent people use stimming as a self-regulation strategy more often, and perhaps more obviously, than neurotypicals.</p><p id="0451">This prompt isn’t specific to ADHD stimming, it’s aimed at any neurodivergent writers, or parents of neurodivergent people, who embrace stimming.</p><h2 id="841b">Holiday survival prompt</h2><p id="0ff4">For those who celebrate Xmas, the holidays are coming up. There are social expectations, crowds, parties, and sensory overload — not to mention some feelings of loneliness, isolation, even ostracization.</p><h2 id="b442">Prompt #2: What are your strategies for managing through the holidays?</h2><p id="1fa0">If you’re someone who feels (or used to feel) very down during the holidays, what has helped you make it through? How to write for us and some prompts for inspiration

I can’t believe it’s almost December already.
