Mystical Wanderings Of A Bibliophile
Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are ~ Mason Cooley

A few days back I read yet another inspiring prompt by Trista Signe Ainsworth, Blissful Wanderings.
And I could instantly relate my wanderings into the world of books as truly blissful. I am sure many of you would resonate with me. I wish to get forever lost in the world of books. Because
books welcome me with an embrace where I am sure to find solace away from the rabid rigamarole. I wander in the world of books far and wide, without moving a foot I travel in the dark dungeons, capacious castles, fly with the fairies, with the demigods, I rustle. Feel the thrill of the spies, and hear my heart pound, for a reader lives a thousand lives, with every page turned around… …. lost in the world of books.
They are an ensuing pinnacle of Mindfulness With a focus on every word, I am aware of the aliveness Where concentration is cogent and every breath coherent Although, lost from the world, but present in the moment.
Wandering in the world of books is tantamount to Meditation Being still and reveling in no action A mere observer, at peace, even better, no reaction witnessing and accepting, as the plot unfolds Just moving with the flow, breath, the only anchor to hold
Wandering in the books is in a manner, twirling with a catalyst Immutable, they sure metamorphose the gratifying guest World and its frame of reference remain aforesaid Improvised is the perception of a bibliophage
This oasis is enchanting, but not all who wander are lost. For, every time I read, I am home.
✍️Please let me know if you share the same sentiments about wandering in the world of books. Are you also born with a booklist that seems impossible to be completed in this lifetime?
✍️Please feel free to suggest any good book for my next wandering. I will be eternally thankful to you.
Do you know? There is even a day to celebrate our love for books.
I often steal some moments for myself for mystically wandering in the book.
Thank you Trista Signe Ainsworth for the prompt and the encouragement to submit.
