Mystery Taco Truck
Day 94: Loving life unconditionally brings great surprises!

For a few weeks, we had talked about it. The taco truck was parked in a church parking lot just up the road. The signs were not clear. We had only guessed at what delights could be found within. Today was the day! We decided we would venture out to this mystery food stall to find out what they had in store for us. We are food-adventurers.
As we walked up to the truck, we saw a family sitting at the outdoor tables, enjoying various dishes. We looked in delight as they told us what they had ordered. Giggling with joy, we had fun surveying the menu. The offerings were specialties of the state of Sonora, and we had never tried food from that Mexican region before. We decided to order several items, then a few more. We are here to enjoy what is being offered to us.
Trying new foods without expectations is something that we love to do. We are so curious about the flavors. When we got home with our treasures in takeout boxes, we were thrilled to savor the delicious food set before us. Each bite of this meal was a mystery no more, now it was a feast for the palate and our hearts. We enjoyed the homemade tortillas, made from flour and corn, amazingly spicy sauces, and a creamy avocado sauce. This is the stuff that dreams are made of.
I believe that getting out of your comfort zone and trying something new is an act of unconditional love for the world. When you give new experiences a chance, you are beautifully changing your reality. You are deciding to step out into the unknown, thus loving something unfamiliar. These are the lesson I am learning on my 100-day spiritual journey while exploring the book Letting Go by David R. Hawkins.
When love is unconditional, there’s no attachment, expectation, hidden agenda, or bookkeeping of who gives what to whom. Our love is unconditional for whatever we are and whatever they are. It is given without requirements. -David R. Hawkins
Because we tried the mystery taco truck, we have added some fun, joy, and love into our lives. That love ripples out to the people who run the food cart, the family eating there, and our friends that we will share the location with. Everything that we choose to do out of love spreads joy around the world.
My prayer and my intention for you today is that you find something new. Find a new activity, something new to try, something to get you out of your comfort zone. Maybe you will even find a mystery food truck to try. You will be delighted!
What is something new you can try today?
