My Unwritten Words Play Hide and Seek

Do your fleeting thoughts, spinning mind, or search for purpose participate in a game of lost and found words only to disappear again?

One, Two, Three… Have my words hidden from me? Are they afraid they won’t be free? Are they ready to flee?

Four, Five, Six… Does my memory play tricks? Okay, I’m peeking; is that a vowel behind the bricks? Am I hot or cold? Give a hint or take some pics?

Seven, Eight, Nine… Those words weighed on my tongue, trapped as mine. I can drag them out or take a breath this time. I’ve searched low and high, willing to crawl or climb.

10… Eyes closed, I still see you forming. You’re grabbing friends; now, a team and brainstorming. Being found is more than okay and unbelievably heart-warming.

READY OR NOT, HERE I COME!
