My Top 3 Articles For 2020 Show That People Are Craving For Guidance
It was all about knowing yourself better.

It is the sign of the current times.
It is a definitive indicator of what the world is going through.
It shows us what people are striving for on a personal and individual level.
The first quarter of 2020 just ended. Seems like it has been a really long one! Doesn’t it? Across the world, everyone has had to try and figure out at least one aspect of their life because it is no longer business as usual. Work and life, in general, have been put into complete disarray.
But here’s the thing:
Do you know what I love about humanity? Resilience!
People have been incredibly resilient in the face of adversity. In times like today, people have wanted to take back some control over their own mindset and spirituality. My top posts from this first quarter tell me a very hopeful story about the human mindset.
The comments and highlights on these posts also indicate the drive and the necessity that readers felt to grow personally. I am so proud of my readers, that they recognize that handling and working through any situation, requires growing ourselves to a larger capacity. They know that raising themselves to a higher mental and spiritual elevation allows them to deal with any turbulence — just like an airplane would.
Spiritual-Awareness Was Highly Sought.
When the going gets tough, the tough look inward!
In this post, I share a story from Hindu mythology that provides the secret to raising personal spiritual awareness. Current times require not only empathy towards other people, but also towards yourself.
After reading the story, do follow the Spiritual Tree publication. It is an incredible collection of writeups to warm your heart in times of distress. Simran Kankas is the editor, and you can literally spend hours reading her poetry and love for humanity.
Understanding The Self Was Important.
Self-awareness is knowing your place with respect to your surroundings, so you know which direction to proceed.
In this post, I give specific tips on knowing yourself better so that you have improved productivity and a better sense of direction in general. Being effective as well as efficient in our professions is more important now than ever before. Balancing the home and office is all about knowing what works best for you in this work-from-home environment.
After reading the writeup, do comment and let me know if any of those tips have allowed you to learn more about yourself. The post was published in the Age of Awareness publication, whose editor is Stephen Muskett, and has a huge resource of writers from education, engineering, and business and over 25,000 followers!
Reading For Personal Growth Was Recognized.
Read to be better at things you want to be better at. Read to be better at things you should be better at. Read to be better at things you need to be better at.
In this post, I provide some ideas on what to read so as to not only maximize personal time but also to expand your mind. Personal growth is very personal! What I suggest you read may not necessarily work for you. However, the act of reading is an important key.
Be sure to visit the responses section to join the discussion about what is working for other readers. This is one of my shorter posts and it is presented in a publication called a Few Words. The editor is S. Stefan Karabacak and the idea there is very simple: Make the most impact in a few words! Simplicity wins the game here.
Conclusion
Just looking at the statistics for my posts gives me a lot of hope! I can see it with my very eyes that people everywhere are actively looking for guidance, for help, for understanding, and for growth.
It warms my heart to know that I can add my 2-cents in the planet’s drive for a better world all around — starting with themselves.
Join me in living our best lives!
As you know, I am a new writer and want to help as many people live their best lives. This monthly email will be the beginning.
