My March ’22 Top Reads
A few days late, but still excited to share!

Where did March go? How is it April 2nd already? How, when I look at my calendar, is it possible that in less than four weeks, the spring semester will be over (and it will be May!?!)?
March was another excellent month for reading on Medium. Altogether, I bookmarked many of my favorite reads, and you can check them out all here:
Here are some highlights as well! Thanks to all the writers for sharing their words and for making me feel connected!

Week Ending October 21, 1955

Tomorrow, the Moon
It’s challenging to think of imagination as a tool of liberation, and yet, in the hands of those who have been denied both a past and a vision of the future that includes them, it is a radical act.
I am then going to the Stonewall Inn. I am going to hoist a drink for my heroes and heroines who fought for me. They showed the world that I do exist and it is my right to exist. I may even use the ladies’ room somewhere that day.
It seems like the right thing to do.

And here’s looking forward to April!
The goal of poets during NaPoWriMo is simple: to write a poem a day for 30 days. There are no other requirements, although it’s fun to also share those poems with others.
