My Favorite Stories on Medium 2016–2022
Part 1 — Eight Stories Published 2016–2018
Since I started publishing on Medium in December 2016, I have published over a thousand stories.
It has been an inspiring journey and I know that during this journey I have developed as a writer. I have, among other things, learned a lot about thinking and writing, formulating and rethinking and editing, and processing and refining the linguistic expression so that the text is optimally good.
«We Don’t Care»
Published on June 18, 2018, · VIEWS 71 · 6 min read
An article about development trends in a world that can seem scary and dangerous.
With our hands on our hearts, we may have to say that four or five years ago we would hardly have thought the world end up where we are now, with a brutal war going on in Europe.
21 Life Lessons from a 70-Year Old
Published on April 28, 2018, in ILLUMINATION · VIEWS 8.2K · 10 min read
What do you see when you have passed 70 that you may not have seen so clearly at a younger age?
This story is one of my most successful when it comes to getting readers and becoming visible.
Be still. Yin Yoga
Published on April 10, 2018, · VIEWS 182 · 4 min read
For a period after I retired, I went to the gym with a plan to be physically active and take care of my body and mental health.
It was nice to go there regularly, and I followed yoga classes, among other things, something that in many ways was a very good experience.
The Dream Will Always Live On, if I Do the Necessary to Nourish It
Published on March 23, 2018, in SYNERGY · VIEWS 113 · 8 min read
In this story, I share my experiences with publishing my first two novels, Stupet from 1978 and Tellus 89 from 1982. There were many book reviews after the publication of the two novels, and I share some of them here.
— Otherwise, the text is about writing, or more specifically about writing creatively.
Alone, yes — but Lonely?
Chosen for further distribution. Published on March 16, 2018, in Ascent Publication · VIEWS 2.9K · 5 min read
One of my first stories on Medium that has gained some readers. The question I am asking here is perhaps:
“Is loneliness good or not good for humans?”
Oceans of Time
Published on March 15, 2018, in Ascent Publication · VIEWS 295 · 5 min read
We experience time in different ways depending on the situation we are in and where we are in life. Age has a lot to say about how we experience life.
Some years ago I retired. Almost during the night, the boundaries of my life changed significantly. I was suddenly able to decide over my own time. All the time, every day, every hour of the day, I alone could decide how I should spend my time, I could decide to spend my time for the private and family-oriented purposes that I myself wanted to prioritize.
— A privilege, or did I get bored?
Age
Published on October 11, 2017, · VIEWS 44 · 2 min read
A poem about getting old and about thinking about the fact that I’m about to get old.
No One Knows
Published on December 26, 2016, in Good Morning Insights · VIEWS 32 · 1 min read
This poem is about man in a world where each human is for themselves in their own universe. But at the same time as we are individuals left to ourselves, we are also fellow human beings, and not least the latter is important to keep in mind in times like these.

My Favorite Stories on Medium 2016–2022 is a collection of the best stories, ie those who have had the most readers, who have given the greatest income, or who I think are the best. For the most part, there is agreement between the three categories, but I also have some stories that have had few readers so far. I think they deserve more.
