“When people make bad things, I just overwrite them,” says my girl while showing me her Roblox game in real-time. “They are spray-painting white supremacy stripes.”

What? I didn’t know about the black and white stripes. I thought I knew stuff! “I’m painting rainbows all over those and they can’t keep up.”

The ugliness of the world is not something you can hide from kids these days. Especially online with gamers. Hateful rhetoric is everywhere. I am so proud of her beautiful instincts and values. Although I can’t help but advise her, “you can always leave the game and we go have some ice cream.” She takes my offer. We don’t have to give them too much attention.
