Heartstopper is the Show You Must Watch With Your Kids
A TV gem to bring families together

Our kids’ generation is less shielded from the LGBTQ world and more aware of mental health when going to school and making friends. That progress was made with a lot of struggle, oppression, and persistence.
For parents, it may still feel challenging to talk openly about gender issues and resilience. We grew up in a conservative world. Stigma ruled our lives. We had to keep our true selves hidden inside while making sure to wear the masks of expectations.
“Heartstopper” is the bridge we needed to reach our children’s world. The show is light in language and even in kisses. Yet, it is touching. It normalizes everything today’s parents grew up being taught to either reject or fight to defend. Great music completes the package. It is a must-watch.
