History: The study of past events as they refer to human affairs. In other words, whatever we do is on record, somewhere.

The calendar is an arbitrary catalog of those people and the events in which they were involved. I could have selected the Hebrew calendar which is based on the movements of the Moon. But since we all seem to be comfortable following this Gregorian thing, I continue hence.

If that sounded too serious, I do apologize. It will rarely be my intent except on special occasions. Please enjoy with a smile on your lips and tongue in cheek.
