Mid-Week Motivations August 4, 2022

A mid-week boost of inspiration

Photo by Justin Veenema on Unsplash

Hello, my lovelies. I almost missed adding the first official Mid-Week post. Sorry, my days get away from me sometimes. But, on the upside, I am putting this together on the correct day, so that’s something.

As I mentioned in my latest edition of Over Coffee, I am adding a new post every week to give you all a little something else to spark an idea or two. Now, keep in mind, you can use these prompts in any way, shape, or form you want. It doesn’t have to be exact to the prompt. If the Non-Fiction prompt sparks an idea for a poem, run with it. I dare ya. LOL

There are three sections for your writing pleasure. Visual, The 5 W’s, and a little something for everyone. (In theory). So here we go, kids. Hopefully, this will turn out as well in reality as it does in my head.

The “Wh”ole Story

Who: shot up the stop sign What: was the last thing they ate Where: is her grandmother’s watch Why: wasn’t there anyone dancing When: did they leave the party

Fiction Prompt Write about three criminals who have to work as a team to save someone’s life.

Creative Non-Fiction What do you collect and why?

Poetry Create a Magic-9 poem about your favorite food.

Okay, my beautiful babies, there’s your first full list of Mid-Week Motivation. I hope you all find something to get those creative juices going. If you write something, tag me (@sapheyerblu), and please leave a link back to this post.

If you’re looking for somewhere to publish your responses to these or any other writing prompt, check out our sister site, Amusing Responses. All we ask is that you use either “Fiction”, “Creative Nonfiction”, or “Poetry” as one of your tags and tag the prompt creator and link to the post. That way we can all come and play.

This is still a work in progress but coming up with these ideas does as much for my own writing endeavors as it does for yours. I want to thank you all for stopping by.

Until next time, Happy Writing!!!
