It is time to properly write an “About Me” section, even if it’s a bit late. I have recently updated my profile parallel to Medium’s August update. Earlier, I had a similar post, but it lacked many details. Therefore, t I realized that I needed a comprehensive introduction. So, here it is.

I’m Prasanna Srinath Subhasinghe. I have explained the meaning of my name in one of my pieces. I’ve also discussed things I like and provided an Anatomy of My Acronym.

I’m from Sri Lanka, a small island in the Indian Ocean. So, my writing often reflects my rich culture and heritage. I really enjoy stories about folklore, myths, horror, and humor. As a result, you will find similar elements in my posts.

I also like writing about my life experiences, especially in storytelling. I’m a Buddhist, and sometimes I discuss topics related to that. I work as a Civil Engineer, managing projects. Occasionally, I share stories about my work too. I’ve tried writing poetry, although I’m still learning.

I am a fish keeper and a crazy cricket lover. By nature, I am an ambivert biased toward the introvert side.

I like connecting with writers interested in the above topics but not necessarily limited to them. I’m not a fan of how Medium’s algorithms work, so I follow my favorite writers by subscribing to them.

So, that’s a bit about me for now. I plan to keep this post at the top of my profile. It’s a glimpse into who I am and what you can expect from my writing.
