Medium Image Caption
How to add an caption to your Medium article images

To add a caption to an image, click on any image in draft/edit mode. Start typing your caption and it will appear beneath the image.

Notes About Image Captions
- You may need to click on “type caption for image” (the caption text that appears when you click on the image) a few times to activate the text.
- Captions can contain bold, italicized, and hyperlinked text (this is a good way to cite image sources).
- Captions are useful in terms of SEO, but adding alt text to your image is likely a better solution if SEO is your goal.
