Day 10, 50 questions for deep self-reflection

This is day 10 of the 50 Questions for Deep Self-Reflection challenge from Know Thyself Heal Thyself created by Diana C.

DAY TEN: How can you revel in each moment of your temporary existance?

Nope. Nope. Nope. Rejects the premise. Haha. It’s a significant question, but the ‘temporary existence part makes me squirm. I don’t like it. I’m going to re-phrase it my perception and beliefs to ‘temporary physical experience’.

Phew. That’s better. Anxiety levels dropping. The idea of existence being temporary not only doesn’t sit intuitively but also, I just don’t like it! It freaks me out on an existential level in the same way an infinite (or finite) universe freaks me out (because what’s outside? And if you say nothing, my head will explode). The concept of multiverse holds more logic for me than a single universe that is infinite or finite. I just can’t deal. Anyway, I’m a believer in collective consciousness. As a writer who tells the stories of characters who speak to me and through me, it makes complete sense to me they are speaking to me through collective consciousness and alternate dimensions of space-time. But this question isn't about that, I just wanted to establish my basis for my perception of the question.

Now that is out of the way…

How can I revel in each moment of this temporary physical experience?

By being unapologetically me

By making decisions that feel good rather than the ones I think I’m SUPPOSED to

By being curious

By having unconditional love for myself (I have to have it for me before I can offer it to others)

By waking up each day and CHOOSING ME (I do that in a rather direct way — Click for my transition journey!)

By writing — because that IS my happy place
