Letting Go of Our Past in A FEW WORDS.
The toughest lesson in Life is letting go of our past.
We are an accumulation of our past and present.
When it comes to our past — It is a mixed bag of highs and lows.
Unfortunately, we hang on to our lows more than we allow ourselves to celebrate our highs.
Right?

We cling onto our past much longer than we ought to.
For some unknown reason, unpleasant memories stick around longer than we wish.
Do you still remember the time when we were embarrassed?
Do you still remember when our partners decide to leave with someone else?
Do you still remember the time when we failed our examinations beyond spectacular comprehension?
I believe that you do.
Because I do.
I still recall how I felt when I received my test paper back from my Mathematics tutor, scoring 0.5 points out of 100.
My eyeballs have trouble staying their sockets and my jaws crashed through the ground.
I remembered the first time my girlfriend broke up with me.
It was vivid.
“He knows how to have fun.”
It stings.
The dagger went in deep.
Those couple of incidents happened 20 years ago.
I still remember them.
I often question why I do.
It makes no sense at all.
We have to let go.
Of course, we cannot erase our history.
We are who we are because of our Life Experience.
What we can do is to build happy memories from today.
Let’s go out there to meet people who we adore.
Let’s have meaningful conversations with people around us.
Let’s hang around with people who are progressive and positive.
We can create memory that matters.
When we are much younger, we had to go through Life and understand what we don’t.
Today, as we mature, we have a choice.
We have to exercise that choice for our betterment.
For ourselves.
For our Life.
