Keeping Your Energy Fresh
Day 27: We can learn stability by always moving and flowing with life

Noticing life and how it flows has become a daily practice now. This morning when I opened my eyes, I saw something powerful. My digital alarm clock across the room read 5:55. Yesterday I heard crows cawing, and I remember counting the sounds: 5, 5, and 5. The day before that, I saw five spiders in my garden. After all of these signs, I know reality is communicating with me. I looked up the angel numbers today, and these numbers mean that change is coming for me. As I move and flow through life, this step along the journey to keep my energy fresh is perfect as I explore the book The Infinite Self by Stuart Wilde for 100 days.
Keep staying fresh, and when you see the energy around you dying, move, change, or enliven it. Paint it a different color, move into a different neighborhood, act differently. -Stuart Wilde
It was the perfect message for me today. Just yesterday, I began to clear away old papers as I prepared to get my accounting up to date. Without even looking through them, I know there is a basket of folders whose energy is no longer fresh. I feel called to clear them away and start anew.
I believe in these times as turmoil all over the world and in our own lives comes to the surface, it is an opportunity. It is a chance for us to take a close look at what energy is serving us and what is not. We need to look at things in our homes, our relationships, and how we treat the world around us. How does the energy feel in those spaces? Is it fresh and alive, or is it withering away?
From nature we learn serenity, and we learn security. We learn a stability that comes from moving and flowing. As you stay aligned to nature as much as possible, you learn from it. -Stuart Wilde
Taking time to walk in nature every morning has allowed me to learn how to move and flow more easily. I am more attuned to the natural rhythms of the day. Everything unfolds just as it should when you are in the present moment. Sometimes I have something on my to-do list, and even though it is on my list for that day, sometimes the timing is not right to get it done that day. That happened yesterday. I was going to do some accounting, but the information that I needed will not be here until Monday. I moved that task to a different day. That is the key. To pay attention to where the energy is flowing, and know that stability is riding the waves.

….By noticing, and staying with the natural rhythms of the planet — the sunset, or the sunrise if you are up before dawn — you’re ready. You’re in a quiet energy. The rest of the world isn’t up, their ego and their mind haven’t polluted the psychic atmosphere around you. Then you’re ready for the day. “I’m eternal, I’m immortal. Here comes the sun. I’m ready.” -Stuart Wilde
As the signs all around me have been telling me, I am preparing for a change. I am not aware of what that change will be, but when it comes, I will be ready. I have been practicing being balanced, learning from nature. If I stay in the flow, ride the current, and stay in the moment, I will learn and grow from this upcoming shift. I am someone who loves routine, order, and tidiness. At the same time, I love change and surprises. I find it is a beautiful balance that I love about myself. I may hesitate for a moment to readjust, but I know I am ready for these powerful moments.
My prayer and my intention for you today is that you take a close look at your surroundings. How does the energy feel in your home? How does the energy feel in your relationships? How does the energy feel in your daily practice? How may you create fresher energy? How do you keep the energy alive and flowing? Feel into life. Discover that you have the power to keep life flowing and changing for you.
How does the energy in your life feel today?
