Infidelity. Nobody will admit to it shamelessly, but many will raise their hands when asked how infidelity has affected their lives. This was a question raised in this mind-provoking TED Talk by Esther Perel — Rethinking infidelity … a talk for anyone who has ever loved.

The biggest royal scandal involved the new king of England. With the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and the ascension of King Charles III with his Queen Consort Camilla at his side, one can only look back in history when then the heir to the throne had an adulterous relationship with a then very much married Camilla to Andrew Parker-Bowles.

King Charles III was very much married to the late Princess Diana who said in an interview,

“Well, there were three of us in this marriage, so it was a bit crowded.”

It almost cost Charles the crown now safely on top of his head. To which he can say again and again — ‘Thank you, Mommy.’

Bill Gates calls Jeffrey Epstein a mistake in judgment.

It was a costly mistake as it was one of the reasons his ex-wife Melinda Gates filed for divorce after 27 years of marriage.

In a sit-down interview with Gayle King, Melinda was candid enough to remind everyone that Bill’s association with Epstein was the final straw in their relationship.

It was also revealed that Bill Gates had numerous affairs even while Microsoft CEO with Microsoft employees, which he was investigated.

“It wasn’t one moment or one specific thing that happened. There just came a point in time where there was enough there that I realized it just wasn’t healthy. I couldn’t trust what we had.” — Melinda Gates

Bill Gates, the face of ‘let’s make this world a better place’, can’t even stay true to his marriage.

Gates, like King Charles III, had affairs. Even the occupants of the White House can’t keep their pants on while in office. Hillary was blindsided. Bill, still managed to pursue his scandalous infidelity with a White House intern that almost cost him his presidency.

Bill Clinton would always be remembered for the black dress and Hillary for standing by his man.

Today, another man who appears to have everything is embroiled in a cheating scandal. Did Adam Levine have an affair or as he said in a statement, he just crossed the line?

Adam Levine crossed the line?

Adam Levine and the Maroon 5 once serenaded wedding couples on their wedding day. A pleasant surprise that those couples will carry on throughout their marriage, which could end up in divorce if we are to believe the data.

According to the United States Census Bureau, both marriage and divorce rates have decreased between 2009 and 2019.

Depending on the state you live in, roughly 50% of marriages end up in divorce, 60% of second marriages end up in divorce, and 73% of third marriages end up in divorce. The United States has the sixth-highest divorce rate in the entire world. — Source

I’m hoping his marriage will survive now that several women have come forward to claim they had an affair with the singer — allegedly.

The scandal broke when digital influencer and OnlyFans model Sumner Stroh shared her story, where else but on TikTok.

She said she felt ‘exploited.’

If you are to believe her claims, Adam was sending her DMs (direct messages) on Instagram.

Was Adam Levine bored? We have seen this before, remember Anthony Weiner the ‘sextexting guy’ married to Huma Abedin who is now dating Bradley Cooper? Even Huma at that time believed that the scandal could have affected Hillary’s campaign. She like Hillary stood by her man.

Sumner Stroh shared some screenshots of their conversation, to which the singer calls her f*cking hot.

And after months of not hearing anything from the singer, Adam came — he came back to flirt with her again and the bombshell Sumner revealed definitely hurt his wife, former Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo who is very much pregnant with his third child.

She claims,

Adam asked her if she was Ok with him naming his new baby — Sumner.

In a statement to TMZ,

“I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life.”

He goes on … “In certain instances it became inappropriate. I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.”

And he says … “My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it and we will get through it together.”

But several women have come forward sharing what appeared to be Levine’s modus operandi, which is to flirt with the Instagram model by sending DMs.

“If any other girl has experiences with him, which I’m sure they have, I think they should post it, because I feel really bad for his wife,” the woman who is @alysonrosef on TikTok claims to have the same experience with the singer.

Final words

Who cheats the most? “There’s no question that men cheat more than women,” says Steven Nock, PhD, a professor of sociology at the University of Virginia who has followed the marriages of over 6,000 men since 1979.

Both men and women cheat, why do we cheat? It depends even if happy people cheat. Why do we end up in an affair? In the TED Talk that I shared, Esther Perel ended her presentation, with these statements.

It will take more than sugar for Adam Levine to win back the trust of his wife.
