I’ve been in Pinterest Creator Rewards 10 Days — Here’s what I’ve learned
And, how much I’ve earned so far

About a week ago, I wrote this story which talks about Pinterest Creator Rewards. It’s their creator program where they basically pay you to pin.
I’ve been a Pinterest fanatic since I discovered the platform almost ten years ago in the nursing mothers' room at work. I was sitting in the room and overheard other moms talk about Pinterest. I downloaded the app and was amazed by all the content.
Recipes, fashion, cleaning hacks, everything I wanted to know, all there.
Since then, Pinterest has found a home in my life.
In my personal life, I love using Pinterest to get inspired by new recipes, try lifestyle hacks to clean my carpet or insulate my home when the power goes out, teach daily skills to my son who has special needs, etc.
For business, I use Pinterest daily as a Pinterest manager.
I help my clients drive traffic and revenue to their company using the visual search engine.
Pinterest has been helping me make money online for several years already and now, they are helping me add one extra income stream to my income!
What’s Pinterest Creator Rewards?

This is Pinterest’s creator program. It designed to reward creators for their content.
Tik Tok has the creator fund.
YouTube has YouTube Shorts Fund.
Facebook has their Facebook Reels bonus program.
Snapchat has Snapchat Spotlight.
It’s a really nice incentive to create content for the app.
This page tells you everything you need to know about the program:
- How it works
- How you can apply to join
- Payment and reward goals
In short, you apply to join Creator Rewards.
There are requirements to join, like you should be at least 18 years old, have at least 1,000 followers on Pinterest and some other requirements.
Once you’re in, on the Pinterest app, you’ll go to Creator Hub. It’s a red button on your profile.

Note: You should have a Pinterest business account (learn about that here, it’s free).
In your Creator Hub, you’ll have an Earn tab. Click into that tab to see the reward goals for the month.

Then pin your Pinterest pins and submit them to the rewards goal.
Does Pinterest really pay you to pin?
Yes.
They pay you 30 days after the reward goal ends.
On my account, it’s $200 to $600 per pin this month.
Some campaigns are for multiple pins, like X pins for $1,000. And, some have an unlimited cap so you can create as many pins as you want that qualify and get paid by Pinterest.
For example…
10 pins X $250 each = $2,500
How much has Pinterest paid me?
This hasn’t hit my bank account yet. I don’t expect it to until the end of the month since the previous period just ended.
But so far…

$900!
This was from 3 pins. So I earned $300 per pin.
Not bad, right?
This is just another way you can get rewarded as a creator. If you’re interested in this, visit the links I posted up above to learn more about the Creator Program by Pinterest so you can join.
What do you think about Pinterest paying you to pin?
Is this a side hustle you’d do?
