It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmassy Things are Happening!
But the most important thing is — Where is PupperJack’s Christmas Bone???
It’s too horribly cold to take my gloves off for pictures of flowers outside — which actually takes a while because I dither a lot about composition, angle, lighting, etc — so I took pictures of flowers inside instead (above and below).

The one in the middle above looks a bit odd, but it’s because he’s brought his right leg up so you can see his knee and his paw is just dangling — I think he’s trying out a can-I-look-any-more-pathetic pose? (He wants to know:- if Susan’s got all these flowers, then where is his bone?)

More indoor flowers — lots of flowers get in the house over November and December. But PupperJack still wants to know where his bone is.

Ooh, Christmassy mug with a couple of easy-peelers in it — Christmassy fruit. And a Christmassy cushion — next to a cushion with — ooh, look — one of my own pictures on it. Awww — a sheep and a sheepdog lying down together in front of the fire …

Christmassy signs everywhere — looks like someone was playing Christmas bingo on their front garden tiles.
PupperJack can’t see the Christmas bone there, either …

The traditional holly and fir Christmas wreaths are on most doors in the neighbourhood now.
Above left is a non-traditional red moss wreath. I like it!
Above right — is what’s known as a ‘door drop’ — also non-traditional. I like that too!

Maybe his Christmas bone is in the washing machine …

Not great pictures, unfortunately — too much reflection — largely because my favourite hardware store is on the main road, and we tend to only rush onto there, spend as little time as possible and then rush off again. But here it is, complete with reindeer (above right pic) replacing their autumnal scheme.
Christmas shopping’s in full swing.
Best advantage has to be taken of the snow — not that we’ve had snow in Bristol yet, although it’s been very, very cold — but Cumbria (just up the map a bit) has had lots of it.
And festive trees have to be chosen with care.

PupperJack’s thinking his bone might be up there on that high shelf. From the floor and at that angle, he can’t see the cat.
The cat knows she can’t be seen — hence the smug smile on her face. She knows where the bone is.
