BRITISH NETWORK TELEVISION & RADIO

Is timing the key to solving the latest Saint Marie murder?

‘Death in Paradise’: S1.E7. “Music of Murder”…

Another great episode. ‘Music of Murder’, directed by Paul Harrison from a teleplay written by Jack Lothian, sees Dwayne takin the team to the concert of a reformed rock band. The lead singer is shot dead and found on the stage inside a coffin prop just minutes before the planned performance.

Camille, Dwayne and Fidel, with all the suspects having an alibi, begin to believe that it was suicide. DI Richard Poole is not convinced. Poole, using the photographs of the photographer at the concert, identifies one of the alibis as being improvised.

‘Music of Murder’, directed by Paul Harrison from a teleplay penned by Jack Lothian, originally came to British television screens on Tuesday, 6 December 2011. It is another episode that involves the entire main cast. It is brilliantly well-executed. Odd, when it comes to the death, is really an understatement. It is a must watch episode.

Carnival arrives in Saint-Marie. Richard sees the dark side of show business when a comeback concert ends in the most public of murders. If sun, sea and sand weren’t bad enough, he now has to conquer his fear of snakes to find the elusive killer…

There are some well known faces featured in the episode. The penultimate installment of the first series, guest starring Johann Myers, Ray Fearon, Keith Duffy, Robbie Gee, Rebecca Scroggs, David Sterne, Sarita Choudhury, Adrian Dunbar, and Ricky Tribord, features a significant amount of music. The featured music adds a dynamic to the episode that brings the entire story to life.
