To wit, the fund goes after late-stage, PRE-IPO companies with good market traction and high prospects.
Some of the investments to date include ServiceTitan, Databricks, Canva, and Vanta.
These are some of the more exciting pre-IPO companies out there today.
This fund is associated with longer investment timeframes and low liquidity, but getting in doesn’t require knowing anyone in Silicon Valley or being an accredited investor.
It offers the average person an opportunity to get their money into the high-potential upside of venture capital, which has routinely generated higher returns than all other, more commonly available investments.
I have personally invested over $700 into this fund as part of my Fundrise investments* here in late 2023. The fund has already returned distributions of $145 to me and is up 2% in just over 90 days. The longer-term return, should one of the holdings go public or be acquired, is much, much higher. This is the convexity the Innovation Fund offers investors, for a minimum investment of just $10.
