Introducing the ‘Words In Motion’ Project by ‘The Crew’.

Join Us As We Play With Words

Dr. Mehmet Yildiz has created another way for us to share information and collaborate. He supports the idea of Illumination Projects, where writers create a project and gather a community around it.

Welcome to the Words In Motion’ Project

This project is an Initiative within the Illumination publication.

I’m the Project Facilitator. I will collect your stories and bring together other readers and writers who are interested in playing with words.

I’m also compiling a Dictionary.

A Quick Confession

The Crew and I have been working on this project for a couple of months now.

We are a group of like-minded writers who love to play with words. We’ve been creating words that should be in the dictionary.

Words like ‘Arcticblonde’, the concept that silver hair is the new blonde, and ‘Perplexium’, when you enter a room and forget why you are there.

Then there’s Slurt.

A slurt is that one friend that cannot keep a secret if her life depended on it. She’s always blurting things out inappropriately, blowing your cover.

I dare you to join us and create words of your own — you know you want to.

Here’s a great example:

Here’s how to participate:

1. Write an article with up to five new words that should be in the dictionary.

Include a definition, and use the word in a sentence.

2. Use this in the kicker.

4. Add a great eye-catching image and any links to relevant stories or articles.
