Today I’m thrilled to share the news about our new venture, Alchemy Publications.

I believe every story has the potential to transform into something magical. I know how every voice is unique and how deep inside you lies an eternal flame that holds the power of transmutation.

To write is to be like a moth to your inner flame.

You cherish it and it seduces you to always come back. You’re drawn to each other by alchemical serendipity. It’s when you write that you truly become the person you’re meant to be.

Hence, I had this vision of creating a network of publications that would work together synergistically. A place where the magic of writing could genuinely transform into an alchemy between writers and readers.

My master in the sacred alchemy of writing explains in his book Pensar (To Think) how we should look at the blank page and just write. Without asking questions.

He explains how true believers always have time to pray, even if they’re not inclined to do so.

“Writing is like praying, but without a God to hear our plea.”

The power of divinity doesn’t come through belief alone, and that’s just one way of making it exist. It exists for those who don’t believe, as an expression of the sacred without a divinity to fill it.

“Write and don’t ask. Write to get sick of it, of not knowing.”

Revisiting his words of wisdom, I had this dream about a new systemic constellation of publications bound by synergy. A new platform where the magic of writing could truly become alchemy.

From this insight rose Alchemy Publications, the matrix from which our publications branch out into their specific niches.

As a consortium of publications on Medium, our mission is clear: to foster an inclusive and diverse hub for authors and publications alike.
