In the Way of Entitled Youth

Young prideful luck Claimed as self determined Over acknowledgement of presence Imagined honor when referred to Natured changeling aloof As if switched and Born to a superior race Frivolous as ocean waves Played aptly into image Victim to inane decisions Unknowingly undeserving Expectations held regardless Laid on unlined palm Any uncertainty denied Swallowed down Without insight To illuminate the struggle Being is hard work
