In My Country, Love Rules

Life in Ellebeaudia

I don’t like living in the USA anymore. It used to be a place that I was proud of and enjoyed, but over the last couple of years, I’ve left and retreated to the sanctuary of my own little country, Ellebeaudia — a much nicer place to live. We have a very liberal immigration policy here. All you need to do in order to cross the border is to exhibit kindness and love towards others, be friendly and caring, and in general have a good time, whatever that means for you (as long as it’s not hurting anyone else).

In Ellebeaudia, everyone is fed and housed. Not even a dog goes hungry. Even problem dogs who bite up the woodwork when they are anxious receive loving care, (as well as a nice new crate and a prescription for Xanax). We understand here that this anxiety comes from too many years on the streets with no love and not enough to eat, and we take that into consideration. We’re very compassionate here; particularly to children and animals.

In Ellebeaudia we like to celebrate, but rather than wasting money on fireworks and parades for special occasions, we celebrate everyday life with tasty spreads whipped up by James, Director of The Department of Drinks and Eats. When I recently mentioned that there was nothing good to sip on in the vicinity, he whipped up a watermelon, pineapple daiquiri that is quite refreshing and delicious. It’s a perfect drink for floating around in the pool with and doing absolutely nothing. The residents of Ellebeaudia are diligent and hardworking when necessary, but they also know the value of relaxation and the chance to just be.

We’re an affectionate lot here in my country, so we kiss and touch often. We talk about love and how much we enjoy being together. We try to be good to each other and if we fall short, we apologize and try to do better. When visitors come, we greet them at the border with a big hug and when special visitors arrive, we sex ’em up just right. There’s no jealousy or competitiveness. We just revel in pleasure and connection and fun. James pulls double duty as the Secretary of Cunnilingus.

When challenges arise, we figure them out together (like how to get a really big dog who doesn’t want to to go into a crate). We share thoughts and show respect for different perspectives. If someone is having a tough day, we try to help them through it.

We don’t need a leader because everyone looks out for everyone else here. There’s no crime and very little illness. We keep tabs on what’s going on in the outside world, but since it’s largely so horrific and depressing, we only let enough information in to determine if there is some way that we can be of help. Can we send an ambassador or a delegation? Would a financial contribution be of help? If not, we prefer to keep to our own country.

All in all, Ellebeaudia is a wonderful place to live. The streets are clean and sometimes the beds are even made. We are grateful for each other and for all that we have. We try to leave other people better off than we found them but we also stand up for what we believe in here; love, equality, pleasure, authenticity, and fun! Every now and then we have to venture back out into the USA for something or other, but it’s nice to know that we can always return to the sanctuary of Ellebeaudia, where life is good and love abounds!
