You’ll know when it’s time to leave When the kindness you give makes you grieve Kindness shouldn’t bring us pain But should give joy again and again

You’ll know when it’s time to leave When the kindness you give is misconceived Kindness shouldn’t be a fault Humanity will be doomed if it is halt

You’ll know when it’s time to leave When your kindness brands you as a thief Kindness is a gift and a virtue It should heal, not harm you
