DRABBLE STORY ARC #4: Boundless Luck
Imps In the Trees
A chapter of a ‘choose your own’ story — drabble edition!

This is a continuation of Boundless Luck, a Choose Your Own Adventure Story (drabble edition) started by Bradan Writes Stories. Find out how to contribute here, or return to the previous chapter: ‘No Cave Like Home’ by John Fanidis, or ‘On the Mighty Air Currents of Luck’ by JF Danskin.
Fearful of unseen dangers, you run. Soon you are sprinting along the rocky shore, away from where you just landed. The forest is straight ahead.
You crash through some bushes and enter the trees, looking up. Mighty tree houses can be seen above you. It’s the start of a vast, magical forest village.
You anticipate friendly elves, offering you food and clothing. Instead, you see horned forest imps, who begin to shoot at you! But as luck would have it, every arrow hits a branch, and you run on unharmed.
Momentarily you slow down, now out of range among trees…
You decide to:
- Walk deeper in the forest (click here).
- Try to befriend the angry imps (click here).
