Summarize

I’m not a fan of trips, not because I’m selfish…

Bear with me :”)

I have an office trip this weekend, and it’s the first time in three years that I’ll be going on one. To be honest, I didn’t sign up for this trip willingly; it took some emotional blackmail from my friends to get me on board.

You see, I’m a bit of an introvert. I value my personal space and like to be around people, but on my terms and at my own pace. Some might even call me selfish if they knew all the details, but that’s okay.

If you wanna read more about my journey, here:

First things first, my idea of trip sounds like a romantic getaway. When I plan trips, they revolve around finding a nice hotel with the best breakfast buffets — yes, food is important. I often spend my days laying in bed, binge-watching old Bollywood movies.

That one time I went on a perfect trip:

The next challenge for me is travel. I suffer from motion sickness, which rules out car journeys. I much prefer train journeys, but that limitation has often restricted my travel plans.

I’m not much of an adventurous person. I tend to gravitate towards places known for their stunning views, pleasant weather, and charming streets. Activities like sports, adventure, or paragliding aren’t exactly my cup of tea.

Now, here’s the kicker — I don’t drink or smoke. This means I tend to avoid trips with people who are likely to indulge in those activities. It’s not that they pressure me to join in; it’s just that I find it challenging to be around a bunch of drunk-ass people who may struggle to understand a word I say.

All that said, I’m having some second thoughts about this office trip. I’m stepping out of my comfort zone because I trust the company of my friends who are open to experiencing things on my wishlist. Wish me luck! I hope I get some good sleep and enjoy the food; otherwise, I might turn into a nightmare.

Why am I stressing about sleep? Well, we’ll be traveling at night, probably with some banging music and some people enjoying their drinks. I can’t sleep in the midst of a bunch of dancers and singers, sorry! xD I can get quite grumpy if I don’t get enough sleep. We’ll be traveling on Friday night, arriving on Saturday morning, and leaving by Sunday noon, so I need to keep my energy up to enjoy everything on my bucket list. Again, wish me luck!

I sound like a bitch lmao. I hope the introverts agree with me. xD
