I’m in No Mood for Love
Song Parody of I’m in the Mood for Love

I’m in no mood for love You’re pimply don’t come near me Not funny can’t you hear me I’m in no mood for love
Vacuous dullard who lies Blight you’re no star you plunder You’re a joke it’s no wonder I’m in no mood for love
You never think of whether Your little scheme I’ll parade You little fart, forever You’ll be unknown, memories will fade
If there’s a bough above Breaks, brains you I won’t regret it After tonight, won’t sweat it I’m in no mood for love
I find playing around and having fun with song lyrics a wonderful way to lift my mood yet still convey an underlying message.
I dedicate this to those politicians across the globe who think people’s lives are a joke and display a deploring lack of emotional intelligence.
For the song link, I could have picked Julie London (awesome), Dean Martin or Frank Sinatra, but I went for Nat King Cole because my Dad was an avid fan who introduced me to his music when I was eight.
I guess that was the start of my love for jazz, blues and soul!
But there’s another reason — racism.
When Cole purchased a house and moved into the all-white neighborhood of Hancock Park in LA in 1948, the Ku Klux Klan placed a burning cross on his front lawn.
Being told by members of the property-owners association they didn’t want any “undesirables” moving into the neighborhood he replied:
“Neither do I. And if I see anybody undesirable coming in here, I’ll be the first to complain.”
Please enjoy the music and the message.
