Sorry for the negativity. But I only got 12 hours of sleep yesterday, and I just can’t even.

I’m leaving this letter in the litter box, because it’s time we address what’s been plaguing me for so long.

You.

I tried to be nice. I really did, against my better nature. But I see now that subtlety is lost on you.

So here we go.

I know you like me. But I just don’t feel the same way. I tried to focus on good things about you, like giving me food and shelter and all that. But it’s difficult to overlook everything else.

I tried to let you know gently. I shuddered every time you touched me, vomited on your pillow, and physically harmed you with bites and scratches.

But you thought I just needed attention.

Do you remember when I brought you half of a mouse to make an offer? Do you think I enjoyed accidentally swallowing the other half?

So this is it. All in big litters.
