If You Are A New Writer On Medium, I Want to Promote Your Work!

I read an article by Justjulieandherblog that inspired me to check out some new writers on Medium.com. I have been a reader on Medium for more than a year and a writer for a few months. I don’t have that many followers yet, so please follow me and check out my articles.

I would like to read more articles by new writers like myself. I found myself reading the same popular authors over and over again, and decided that I wanted to expand my reading horizons.

I started by checking out some new writers that were mentioned in the following article by Justjulieandherblog, and I decided to choose ten articles that I want to recommend to you.

Nina Osborne: Giving Fucks Left and Right

This is a book review of the book The Subtle Art of Not Giving A Fuck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living A Good Life by Mark Manson. Nina tells three interesting things that she learned from reading this book.

Ella Dorman: Trauma Is Real

Ella talks about how her childhood has affected her self-perception as an adult. Despite often being called an “overachiever” she struggles with feeling “not good enough.”

Jacob Rodriguez: Money Is My Career. I Now Realize It Isn’t That Important.

This is an insightful article about the relative importance of health and money, written by a financial planner who volunteers at a hospice.

Carl Poland: Five Ways To Get The Happiness Habit

This is a well-written article that gives some great advice.

Rebecca Johnson: Self Care Is Hard Work

This article talks about how self-care often refers to something you can buy. Rebecca points out that self-care can also refer to internal change.

Julia Elizabeth Gnieser: Anorexia Recovery: Putting One Foot In Front Of The Other

Julia shares her personal struggle with the eating disorder, and her journey back to health.

Sierra M. Wyman: The Magic Of Taking Things One Day At A Time

Sierra gives great advice about small easy steps that you can do one day at a time to improve your life.

Alice Cutler: How To Move On From Pregnancy Loss

Alice talks about the heartbreak of going through fertility treatments and miscarriage.

Meli C.: Halsey is the Bleeding Heart of Alt-Pop

Reading this article about Halsey, the singer-songwriter, made me want to know more about her.

Gaylon Jones: No One Cares About My Divorce Recovery

This is a long article, about 10 minutes long. Gaylon gives good advice about different methods and websites that he used to recover from his divorce. His advice is relevant to a variety of emotional/psychological issues.

There are a lot of good writers on Medium, and it takes time to find the ones that you connect with.

If you would like for me to read one of your articles and possibly recommend it in a future article, please let me know in the comments. I will try to read as many articles as I can.
