“I Would Do Anything For Love, But I Won’t…” Is Good Advice For Single Women

That (annoying) song from 1993 could save you a lot of heartache

YouTube.com

The opinions in this article are my own. You can choose to agree or disagree. I’m here to put this song into a specific context where it can serve women, and maybe some men looking for a relationship if they ever find themselves swiping on a dating app. I’ve enjoyed other songs by Meat Loaf (R.I.P), but this one is one of his painful ones.

Before We Begin.. Hear Me Out

Firstly, I absolutely, utterly hate this song. It’s meaningless, long and annoying to the power of infinity. This song happened when I was in school. Keeping on top with the newly released music. Hoping my favorite song would make it to the top of the chart. Secretly praying…please, please...make my song hit the top of the charts. Sometimes it did. Yay! (Rhythm is a Dancer… 🙋Anyone?)

Sometimes it didn’t. 🙄

In 1993, this guy called Meat Loaf comes along, sings the most annoying song in the world, and no one ever knew what he meant by “that” in “..but I won’t do that..” and it tops the charts?! 🤷

WTF! Go figure. 🙄

My Effort To Make Peace Within

I like justice. I like to see the good guys win. Life happens. Shit happens, you know. I make peace with that part of me that feels it has ‘lost control’ and choose to give up ‘control’. I mean whoever thought that they could ‘control’ the way things go in life, which song becomes popular for what reason, right? Doesn’t mean what happened is right. It only means I choose to let go, because my peace is more important. ✌️ 😌

Breathe in…😌… Ahhh.. Breeaathe out…. 😌 Let it go!

My Aha Moment

I write extensively about getting vigilant about dating, how to manifest a love relationship as well as my insights from my openness to ideas. Sometimes they turn in to poems on life lessons. Sometimes they become articles:

  1. The Tinder Swindler, The Ratio and The Shocking Men’s Formula
  2. Going On Coffee, Dinner Or Drink Dates? Sorry It Doesn’t Work
  3. 5 Powerful Relationship Lessons To Learn From 500 Days Of Summer If You’re Dating

  5. Is Work Filling Your Relationship Hole?

And so the openness to ideas is what lead me to the memory of this annoying Meat Loaf song yesterday. But because of what happens a lot on dating sites (like Tinder) which unfortunately turned out a huge scam 😱 that turned into a Netflix movie, this song has good advice… like really good advice for women.

Lisa, a forty-five year old divorced mother of two, was yearning for the love of a man. She was so attracted to Jerry’s charming persona that two months after entering in a relationship with him, she gave Jerry half her savings! And then Jerry disappeared from the face of earth. There was no such person to be traced by the name Jerry. Of course, Lisa was heart-broken. 💔😭

Like Lisa, many women are being scammed today… because

they would do ANY-THING FOR LOVE…

Yes. I know you want to be loved. But I hope

you won’t do THAT
