I Tried LinkedIn Blogging — Here’s what happened

A while back, I decided to get more serious about LinkedIn. It’s a quietly slept-on social channel that you can use for more than just job search!

It started with me being more actionable through posting on the platform more. But, I still hadn’t established any concrete schedule.

Then, I started implementing more things, and shortly after, I was in talks with 3–4 different companies for LinkedIn partnerships!

Here’s exactly what I did to make that happen and how those partnerships transpired…

I started on LinkedIn — here’s where I’m at now

The first time I really checked my LinkedIn account, I had around 140ish followers.

Today I have 229.

As I mentioned, I started by randomly posting here and there.

With a new channel, it takes me a while to establish a routine and get comfortable enough to post regularly.

It’s still a work in progress on this front, but, as I continue to spend more time there, my posting will increase.

For now, it continues to be a random post every week or so.

The next thing I did was syndicate my Millennial Nextdoor posts to LinkedIn.

LinkedIn is an excellent platform for parasite SEO.

Because it has such a high domain rating, like Medium, you can use it for parasite SEO to rank keywords and make money from SEO.

My step-by-step process for syndicating my content to LinkedIn

Here’s exactly how I do it.

Step 1: Copy your content

First, copy your article.

I do a CTL-A then, CTL-C to copy.

Step 2: Paste into LinkedIn

Go to LinkedIn, login, and click Write an Article.

Paste the title. Then, paste the content where it says Write here.

Do any editing you need to.

The images usually don’t transfer over so you may need to re-add those. And add a cover image.

Click Next.

Then, publish!
